Kingston Highway Campus

Service  time- sunday 10:30 am

Thanks for checking us out!  Our Kingston Highway campus meets in the gym of Chapel Hill United Methodist Church, 1818 Kingston Highway, Rome, GA 30161. Below you'll find information on things specific to our Kingston Highway campus.

Three Rivers is one church in two locations. Although each campus has its own flavor, we are committed to the same purpose: For the glory of God, we will disciple the nations by being and producing radical followers of Jesus Christ.  We invite you to come see what we are about and to join us in this mission.

Service Time: We start worship at 10:30 am and typically end at noon. Check-in for Radical Kids starts at 10:20 am.

Parking:  Because we share a parking lot with Chapel Hill United Methodist Church and have overlapping worship times, we want to be conscientious of their parking spaces. We have two rows of parking on the left side of the parking lot as you enter as well as approximately 50 spaces along the gravel road on the left side of the lot that exits onto Old Freeman Ferry Road. If you stay to the left as you enter, you will see signage for Three Rivers and our greeters will help you find a convenient parking spot.

Children: Radical Kids is our ministry for children from six weeks old to 5th grade that meets during the service, and check-in starts at 10:20 am. However, we also welcome children into the service to learn to worship alongside our family of faith, and we regularly schedule our 1st-5th graders to be in the service with their families so they can prepare to be involved in corporate worship as they get older. We also have a "mom's room" available for moms with infants who need a more private place to rock or nurse where the service is live-streamed.

Music: You can expect a mix of modern and traditional songs that magnify Christ.  Our worship band strives to lead us in songs that are biblically faithful, theologically rich, and full of praise to God.

Preaching: We typically preach through books of the Bible, studying a passage each week. We seek to exalt Jesus in every sermon and to apply the truths of the text to our lives. Several of our pastors share the preaching and teaching duties.

The Lord's Supper: We share the Lord's Supper every Sunday, typically near the start of the service in order to set the tone for our worship together. We remember and proclaim that Jesus died in our place for our sin so that we could be reconciled to God and adopted into his family, the church. This is also a time for repentance and renewal. The table is open to all who worship Jesus as Lord.

Giving: Offerings are an important part of worship. Our offering box is located at the information table in the back of the auditorium.  If you are our guest at Three Rivers, we do not expect you to give; we are simply glad to have you with us.

Dress:  We invite you to come as you are, whether it's a suit or shorts you feel most comfortable wearing. Our members and regular attenders tend to dress pretty casually.

Next Steps:  We would love for you to connect in community with a Radical Life Group, learn more about Radical Kids, or Student Radical Life, or explore our membership class. Any of our pastors would be happy to answer questions you may have or help introduce you to others in the church. Please let us know how can we best serve you as you explore Three Rivers Church.
